WELL 2016 has been quite a year, hasn't it?
I hope I'm in a place where I can pick up drawing regularly again. My husband and I moved out of state and switched jobs and had a lot of health issues and left our religion and had a few mental breakdowns and all sorts of other things have happened and it's honestly been pretty awful. And that's not even counting all the craziness outside of our lives going on in the media and with the election and mass shootings and.... and dammit, why did David Bowie have to go and die?!?
But I think (dangit, I don't want to jinx it...) things are mostly settling down. Also happily, I am finally on an anxiety medication that is really helping me and I feel SO much better, than I ever have in my life. And I gained 20 pounds, which means I'm not underweight for the first time in my life, which is also very good.
Another great thing that did happen this year is I SAW GREEN DAY IN CONCERT. GREEN DAY HAS BEEN MY FAVORITE BAND FOR FIFTEEN YEARS AND I SAW THEM IN CONCERT FOR THE FIRST TIME AND IT WAS THE BEST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE.
Anywho. I really hope to draw and craft more frequently. I hope all of you have great holidays and may your 2017 be better than my 2016!
