Tanz Der Vampire

I'M REALLY HAPPY WITH THIS
Things don't always turn out the way they look in my head

SOOOO This is fanart for the German musical Tanz Der Vampire ("Dance of the Vampires"- which is actually the name of the English version which was on broadway starring Michael Crawford and is supposed to be terrible and awful and many other negative superlatives).
I just found out about it, and watched it online, and I thought the music was fantastic.
I'm usually pretty wary of anything to do with vampires, probably because Twilight killed most of my brain cells and has poisoned my will against ever jumping on the current vampire bandwagon.
BUT. This made me very happy. The plot was kind of blah, but the music was great.
SO.
Oh and this was done with pen. Yep. And it's the last page in my sketchbook that I just bought like two months ago. SO TIME TO BUY A NEW ONE!

PS. Her name is Sarah, and his is Count Von Krolock. And he's a vampire and she's a poor helpless virginal beauty blah blah blah.

PS Again. (EDIT: BEFORE YOU READ THIS, I *KNOW* THAT LABYRINTH CAME AFTER. But thank you for your concern ) The whole time I was watching this I kept having Labyrinth deja vus. Like... "oh...here's a young girl named Sarah... who has lots of dreams and fantasies.... oh now she's wearing a big poufy dress in a strange ballroom full of odd characters... and now the lead male with long hair and striking features and a foreign accent and wearing an ominous cape is singing 80s pop songs to her... oh now he's trying to seduce her.... hmm..."
haha....ha...........yep. But that's just me......

Ok just one more thing. I just noticed the way I drew Sarah's dress looks a lot like Belle's from Beauty and the Beast.... the disney cartoon.... only red. And they're both dancing with a beast.
